In a nut-shell, after COVID lockdowns I had to re-assess. My other business provides marketing, website, graphic design, etc services primarily to regional clients. Many businesses are still trying to re-coup lost earnings from lockdowns and we are one of them. We were lucky to survive. But as we all know, many businesses didn’t.
I like running businesses so decided to start a small business doing mowing and handyperson jobs in mid-2022, knowing it would be easy to do this work in and around myself and my team working for clients in my other business. I keep growing both businesses.
I don’t like putting all my eggs in one basket. The other business is very technology-driven, and with the fast advancement of AI (and other disruptors), I am better off running two businesses in completely different industries.
